Penny Fine is a managing director of CIT Bank leading business development for CIT Northbridge Credit. In this role, Penny is responsible for driving the origination efforts for a broad range of flexible asset-based debt solutions focused on middle-market companies.
Prior to joining the CIT Northbridge team, Penny was a business development officer at Huntington Business Credit, a division of The Huntington National Bank and previously, Penny was Midwest region head for Chase Business Credit, a division of JPMorgan Chase. Before JPMorgan Chase, she was an executive direct of Restructuring Services at Capstone Advisor Group consulting on solutions for lenders and investors in distressed situations. From 2005 to 2008, Penny served as executive vice president and head of the National Restructuring Group at CIT. Prior to joining CIT in 2005, Penny held various positions in lending at GE Capital and Heller Financial and started her career at Arthur Andersen in public accounting.
Penny earned her B.S. in Accounting from the University of Illinois and her Masters of Business Administration from the University of Chicago. Penny is a member of the Board of Trustees and Executive Committee for The Catherine Cook School and is also a member of the Turnaround Management Association, Commercial Finance Association and the American Bankruptcy Institute. Penny lives in Deerfield, IL with her husband Jay.
