27th Annual Fundraising Drive

Foundation’s 2017 Campaign Welcomes Individual Donations as well as Corporate Contributions

Foundation Senior Advisor, Charlie Johnson, is reaching out this month to all CFA Member firms reminding the Director that the 2017 Campaign is in full swing and asking each member firms to consider a contribution. “However, if a corporate contribution is not in your budget, please consider a fully tax deductible personal contribution.” Either will help the Foundation reach its goal and all contributions will be acknowledged immediately. Individual contributors will also receive recognition in The Secured Lender, at various CFA events, in this monthly Newsletter as shown below, and on the Foundation’s website at

Supporters of the advancement and knowledge of the commercial finance industry.

Anthony R. Callobre, Partner at Buchalter Nemer and Bobbi Acord Noland, Partner at Parker Hudson Rainer & Dobbs, campaign co-chair persons for 2017 have already begun assembling their fundraising team. Several members of last year’s “SWAT Team” have already signed up and are enthusiastically beginning to contact prospective contributions.

Just like last year, Tony, Bobbi and the Team will continue reminding all to pledge or contribute early so their contributions can be acknowledged often throughout the year. Contributor will be highlighted in The Secured Lender, on the Foundation’s website, at various CFA events, and, as seen below, in this monthly Newsletter.

“We are also continuing the theme of reminding Service Providers that a contribution to the Foundation is a great opportunity to give back and support the industry which has provided them with wonderful living,” said Bobbi Acord Noland.

Co- Chair, Tony Callobre, also advised that the 2017 campaign strategy is still to reach out to firms and individuals who contribute on a regular basis as well as those associated with the Commercial Finance Industry who have not previously contributed. “By focusing extra effort on prospective contributors, we will reach or exceed our 2017 goal of $380,000” said Tony.

Since its inception, the CFA Education Foundation has achieved unprecedented success and has now raised over $7 million. These funds are critical to CFA’s extensive education, research and development mission. CFA recognizes the tireless efforts of the Governing Board, Advisory Board and Founders Leadership Council Members who have exceeded their goals year after year through significant contribution of time and energy to the Foundation Campaign.
