CFA 40 Under 40 Awards: A New Tradition

The Commercial Finance Association is once again looking for the best and brightest in our industry.

The Commercial Finance Association’s 40 Under 40 Awards is designed to honor the achievements of young professionals in the commercial finance industry: innovators, visionaries, leaders and rising stars. What makes this award program special is the cohesiveness of support across the industry. The Leadership Council is comprised of senior leaders representing bank-affiliated asset-based lenders and factors, as well as independent and entrepreneurial enterprises. The Event Committee is made up of highly engaged industry leaders.

Nominations are now closed those chosen will be honored in the September issue of The Secured Lender and celebrated at our 40 Under 40 Awards celebration on September 28th in New York City.

We want to recognize David Kurzweil of Greenberg Traurig and Jeffrey Goldrich of North Mill Capital for graciously volunteering to be Chair and Vice Chair respectively of the 2017 CFA 40 Under 40 Awards Committee.

40 Under 40 Chair

David Kurzweil is a Principal Shareholder with Greenberg Traurig, LLC. He is the International Co-Chair of the Financial Institutions Practice and Chair of the Atlanta Business Reorganization and Financial Restructuring Practices. With more than 29 years of experience, he has represented corporations, partnerships, individuals and financial institutions, providing innovative solutions to clients across a wide range of industries, including energy, technology, manufacturing, retail, cable television, publishing, real estate, transportation and professional corporations. He has extensive experience in Chapter 11 Bankruptcy cases, representing financial institutions, debtors, creditor’s committees, and Trustees. In addition, he frequently represents financial institutions and companies in out-of-court debt restructurings. David also represents financial institutions in all types of financing, including asset-based loans and debtor-in-possession financing transactions.

Jeffrey Goldrich,
North Mill Capital
40 Under 40 Vice Chair

Jeffrey Goldrich is president and CEO of North Mill Capital LLC. He has been in the asset-based lending and factoring business for over 40 years. He co-founded North Mill Capital LLC with its management group in 2010. In 1995 he co-founded and was the COO of Business Alliance Capital Corp (BACC), a commercial finance company headquartered in Princeton, New Jersey. BACC was sold to Sovereign bank in 2005. Prior to that, Goldrich was a senior vice president and asset-based lending division manager at First Fidelity Bank in Newark, NJ where he was for ten years.
