Hear Peter Schwab's Keynote Address on Leadership During the 40 Under 40 Awards.

Peter Schwab, Former Chairman & CEO,  Wells Fargo Capital Finance

Peter Schwab was the chairman and CEO of Wells Fargo Capital Finance. Wells Fargo Capital Finance is the leading provider of traditional asset -based lending, specialized senior secured financing, accounts receivable financing, factoring, and purchase order financing to companies nationwide. Peter also served on the Management Committee of Wells Fargo Bank.

A 39-year veteran of the asset-based lending industry, he joined Foothill Capital Corporation in 1983, becoming its President and Chief Operating Officer in 1986. Norwest Corporation then purchased the company in 1995. In 2000, he was named chairman and chief executive officer of Wells Fargo Foothill, and in 2006 he took the position of group head of the Asset-Based Lending Group, now known as Wells Fargo Capital Finance.

We want to recognize David Kurzweil of Greenberg Traurig and Jeffrey Goldrich of North Mill Capital for graciously volunteering to be Chair and Vice Chair respectively of the 2017 CFA 40 Under 40 Awards Committee.

David Kurzweil is a Principal Shareholder with Greenberg Traurig, LLC. He is the International Co-Chair of the Financial Institutions Practice and Chair of the Atlanta Business Reorganization and Financial Restructuring Practices. With more than 29 years of experience, he has represented corporations, partnerships, individuals and financial institutions, providing innovative solutions to clients across a wide range of industries, including energy, technology, manufacturing, retail, cable television, publishing, real estate, transportation and professional corporations. He has extensive experience in Chapter 11 Bankruptcy cases, representing financial institutions, debtors, creditor’s committees, and Trustees. In addition, he frequently represents financial institutions and companies in out-of-court debt restructurings. David also represents financial institutions in all types of financing, including asset-based loans and debtor-in-possession financing transactions.

Jeffrey Goldrich,
North Mill Capital
40 Under 40 Vice Chair

Jeffrey Goldrich is president and CEO of North Mill Capital LLC. He has been in the asset-based lending and factoring business for over 40 years. He co-founded North Mill Capital LLC with its management group in 2010. In 1995 he co-founded and was the COO of Business Alliance Capital Corp (BACC), a commercial finance company headquartered in Princeton, New Jersey. BACC was sold to Sovereign bank in 2005. Prior to that, Goldrich was a senior vice president and asset-based lending division manager at First Fidelity Bank in Newark, NJ where he was for ten years.
