Since it was founded in 1944, the CFA has helped foster the asset-based lending industry by educating and encouraging pioneers in our field. We are so proud to continue this tradition with the implementation of these awards. This event aims to honor and inspire our next generation of CFA professionals. It is affirmation that the hard work of our future leaders is getting noticed, and a career-boosting professional achievement as well.

The 40 Under 40 Awards would not be possible without our generous sponsors. Their contributions to this event underscores their commitment to our industry and the people who will lead it. The evening is designed to showcase individuals who are making their mark in commercial finance, but is also an opportunity to showcase the companies that support these individuals. We greatly appreciate their engagement.

We also thank our Event Committee, our Leadership Council and our judges. Our group is an active, vibrant and dedicated team that has helped shape the awards and drive its success. The award presentations today are the culmination of a rigorous process to choose just 40 from a distinguished group of nominees. Nominations began in early spring, followed by thorough vetting, due diligence, and hours of debate. The results are an honor for both members and their firms.

CFA’s 40 Under 40 is a group that includes innovators, visionaries, leaders and rising stars in an industry known for its deep talent pool. Our inaugural class are young movers and shakers who have already made a name for themselves in our industry. They are also the ones to watch as their careers progress. We celebrate their achievements, and look with excitement for what they will do tomorrow.
